Who we are
UK Ludo League Limited is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 15333638, with a registered office at 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, W1W 7LT. This is our registered office only and is not a correspondence address.

Information we collect
When you create or manage an account
We may collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode, birth month and year, gender, communication preferences, account role and profile image. Authentication credentials are managed by Firebase; we do not receive your password in readable form.
When you play or attend
We record event registrations, match results, ratings, games played and other league statistics. Player names, rankings and recorded results may be displayed publicly as part of the league record.
When you place an order
Stripe collects the payment, contact and delivery details needed to complete checkout. We receive the order details required to confirm, fulfil and support your purchase, including your name, email, phone number, delivery address, ordered items and payment status. We do not receive your full card number.
When you use the website or contact us
We receive the information you choose to include in messages. We also process basic technical and security information needed to deliver the website. If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights collect usage and performance measurements as explained in our cookie notice.
How and why we use information
- To provide requested services: creating and securing accounts, registering players, recording results, maintaining rankings and processing orders.
- To meet our legal obligations: maintaining appropriate transaction, tax and business records, responding to lawful requests and protecting people's rights.
- For legitimate interests: preventing abuse, supporting users, improving reliability and preserving an accurate league record, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- With your consent: optional analytics and any marketing communications you actively choose to receive. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising or make decisions about you using solely automated processing that has legal or similarly significant effects.
How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, including legal, accounting, security and dispute requirements. Account information is generally kept while the account is active. Order records are retained for the period needed for fulfilment and business record-keeping. League results and rankings may be kept as a historical sporting record.
A secure website session lasts for up to five days unless you sign out sooner. Analytics and device-storage periods are listed in the cookie notice.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive a copy of your information, and to object to certain uses. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing.
Your right to object: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests in some circumstances. You can always object to personal information being used for direct marketing.
Some requests can be completed from your account. For anything else, email us. We may need to verify your identity and some rights can be limited where we have a legal reason to retain or continue using the information.
